Ongava Game LodgeAn ideal place from which to explore Etosha, Ongava Game Lodge has a superb vantage point overlooking a well-frequented watering point and the plains beyond. Situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve (30,000 acres), Ongava Game Lodge is well-established and reliably well appointed.
Ongava Game Lodge Accommodation The lodge provides 14 air-conditioned rock and thatch chalets, each with bathrooms en-suite and wooden decked verandas overlooking the plains. The central restaurant, bar and reception area are thathed, with great views of the water hole. There is also a shady swimming pool for post-safari or siesta refreshment! Ongava Game Lodge Safaris and Walks Safari activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha where animals such as Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Gemsbok, Springbok, and Hartebeest can be seen at many of the water holes. In addition, guests can enjoy the hides and guided walks with armed guides on the private reserve. Ongava has resident White and Black Rhino, giving guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species.
